PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Lead and manage finance department to achieve high performance objectives on producing high quality financial statements complying with Cambodian Accounting Standards (CAS/CIFRS for SME) and regulatory requirements, declaring correct taxes complying with Cambodian laws on taxation and preparing high quality financial performance analysis and reports to management and branches for use to improve operational and business performance.

EXPECTED RESULTS

• Ensure sufficient policies and processes on financial accounting
• Ensure financial statment comply with new accounting standard (CAS/CIFRS) and regulatory requirements
• Participate in management committee activities
• Manage revenue and expense efficiency and effectiveness follow by budgeting plan
• Ensure have enough funds to support company growth
• Ensure accounting transactions are record properly follow accounting policy and procedures

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Ensure there are sufficient policies and processes on financial accounting, tax declaration and financial performance analysis and reporting for implementing effectively by staff of finance department and of branches
• Ensure financial statements are produced timely and correctly complying with CAS/CIFRS and regulatory requirements, taxes are declared and paid timely and correctly complying with Cambodian laws on taxation and financial performance analysis and reports to management and branches are produced timely for use to improve operational and business performance
• Participate in management committee activities and meetings to improve operational and business performance of the company as well as to implement decision of Executive committee, BOD effectively
• Lead, manage and develop team members to achieve high results and to strengthen high performance culture and to cultivate a culture of risk awareness and internal control to ensure that risks are identified and managed timely.
• Analyze trends and patterns, ratio in financial statement comparing to budgeting plan and provide commendation to managment.
• Manage revenue and expense effeciency and effectivness follow by budgeting plan
• Ensuere have enough funds to suppport company growth
• Ensure accounting transactions are record properly follow accounting policy and procedures
• Planning, organizing, leading and controlling (POLC)
• Head of Finance Department doing other necessary tasks that required by CEO, DCEO and GM.

QUALIFICATIONS

(Defining the  Knowledge, Skills, Experience, etc., to achieve the outputs expected from each level)

The Head of Finance Department needs the following qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or Master in the field of Accounting, Finance and Banking or related fields.
• ACCA (qualified) is preferable
• Analytical thinking, Initiative and Achievement orientation
• Excellent track record in the financial industry with more than 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation or related fields and have minimum 5 years of supervisory/managerial experienc
• Demonstrate clear leadership traits with strong goal orientation and accountability
• Strong interpersonal, communication and soft skills necessary for sales people management
• Very strong drive and passion to succeed
• Ability to work and thrive under pressure
• Ability of computer literacy such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and others.
• Ability to use English language good in writing, speaking and listening.
